The domino game of 42

was originally invented in Parker County. In 1887, two young boys, William Thomas and Walter Earl, invented the game of 42 in their hometown, Trappe Spring, Parker County (now Garner). Back then, playing cards was declared "sinful" by the Baptists. So, these two boys tried playing cards with dominoes!

The Poor Farm is located about one mile south of Weatherford, on Tin Top Road and Leea Lane. It is near the old Harmony Community.
